Project Overview
The homeowners wanted a clean, contemporary backyard centerpiece that doubled as a relaxation retreat. The lot featured a slight grade change, which we used to naturally elevate the spa above the main pool for a dramatic spillover effect.
We designed a geometric pool with crisp 90-degree corners and a contrasting dark pebble interior finish that gives the water a deep, reflective look. The elevated spa sits roughly 18 inches above the pool surface, creating a continuous waterfall sheet that spills into the main pool.
The entire system is controlled via a smartphone app, lighting scenes, spa temperature, pump schedules, and water features can all be adjusted remotely. Travertine coping and deck pavers tie the modern design into the existing home architecture.
