Project Overview

This St. Petersburg homeowner dreamed of a backyard that felt like a Caribbean getaway. The large, flat lot gave us plenty of room to create sweeping curves and a naturalistic layout that blends into the surrounding landscape.

The centerpiece is a natural rock waterfall and small grotto tucked into the far end of the pool. We sourced Florida-native boulders to keep the look authentic and low-maintenance. A zero-depth beach entry on the opposite end makes the pool accessible for all ages.

Tropical plantings, including sylvester palms, bird of paradise, and jasmine, were installed around the pool perimeter to create a lush, enclosed feeling. The pebble interior finish in a sandy tone gives the water a natural lagoon color.
